I have another family-friendly movie for you to check out titled: When the Heart Calls: Lost and Found presented by the Hallmark Channel and directed by Michael Landon Jr.  It is a Believe Pictures and Brad Krevoy Production.  It is inspired by the Best-Selling Series by Janette Oke, one of my favorite authors.

I was so excited when this movie was presented to me for a review as these are such wonderful and wholesome family films, which is greatly needed today.

When Calls the Heart: Lost & Found stars: Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, and Full House Star; Lori Loughlin.

A well-to-do young teacher, Elizabeth Thatcher, receives her very first classroom assignment in a very simple town Coal Valley.  Her life is challenging as she is used to high society life.

Abigail Stanton played by Lori Loughlin became a widow when her husband and many other miners were killed in a major explosion.  She must now work in the mines just to make ends meet for her family and keep a roof over their heads.

Many of the people in town are eventually won over by Elizabeth.  She ends up learning valuable lessons about the frontier life.

The movie is very inspiring and really makes one put things into perspective about life and what is truly important.

I think that this movie is best suited for ages 12 and up.  Children under this age may find the film uninteresting as the story line may be a little over their heads.  It all depends on your child.  My only negative view of this film is that it is slow in some areas.  They probably could have done without a couple of scenes and jumped to the point, but of course this is just my opinion, ha!

I love Michael Landon Jr. films as they do not contain adult language and they are pure in heart.  So refreshing to see considering all the inappropriate movies out there which are clearly corrupting the young minds of today.
