In a previous post I mentioned that I would blog about my experience with PanAway and my knee. A couple of months ago when I was moving things around in our basement, my knee came into contact with our old bulky TV. I bumped it pretty hard. I knew instantly that my knee would probably not be the same due to the excruciating pain that I experienced.
Since then, I have had to massage my kneecap to warm it up for a workout because it just hurt so badly to do squats, etc. The massages didn’t exactly take all of the pain away, but it did make it tolerable during a workout.
Since learning about PanAway, I was ready to give it a try. It is known to help sore muscles, joints, etc. I applied 2 drops right onto my kneecap and massaged it in for 30 seconds or so. This was done maybe a half hour before my workout. I have been doing Zumba so the wild dance moves at times were brutal to my knee. Here was the true test with essential oil, PanAway! I am so thrilled to share with you that I did not have any pain whatsoever in my knee and haven’t had any since! I have applied it a few more times just in case before a workout, but haven’t had to for a few weeks. This essential oil is amazing!
PanAway contains wintergreen essential oil. This is often used for massages. It was created by the founder of Young Living Essential Oils, Gary Young following a “severe injury to the ligaments on his leg.” So amazing!
I went to the gym two days in a row to take a break from Zumba and just do some weights and sculpting. Well, since I was gone on vacation for a week, it was like starting all over. My muscles ached so badly. I applied PanAway to the areas that needed it the most. Within maybe 20 minutes to half an hour, my aches were gone. It definitely soothed my sore muscles.
I believe God created specific plants, flowers, seeds, etc., for a reason and it’s for us to use. They have natural healing properties. I am hopeful that essential oils can completely replace all medications and over-the-counter prescriptions in our home.
