Banana Bon Bons Recipe

Makes about 24 Bon Bons

Ingredients: 3 Frozen Bananas

1 batch Superfood Chocolate

1/3 c. solid cacao butter chopped into shavings

5 Tbs. cacao powder

Dash Sea Salt

2 Tbs. Agave Nectar

1 Tbs. Coconut Oil

2 Tbs. Hemp Seeds (optional)

Slice the bananas into 1 inch rounds and place them back into the freezer until ready for assembly.

In a small saucepan over low heat add cacao butter and stir to slowly melt into a liquid. Remove immediately from heat. Add cacao powder and salt to the mixture and whisk. Whisk in agave nectar. Keep in warm pan. If the mixture solidifies put back over low heat.

Add coconut oil, whisk to combine. Remove from heat. Place Hemp Seeds into a small bowl. Line a plate or tray that will fit in your freezer with parchment paper.

Working quickly put a banana on the tongs of a fork and place it in the chocolate. Roll around until it is coated, remove from fork onto tray. Lightly sprinkle with Hemp Seeds. Repeat with remaining pieces. Return bonbons to freezer for 20 minutes and then serve. Bonbons may be stored in a resealable bag for up to 2 months.  Enjoy!
