DIY (do it yourself) is more popular than ever right now.  With the ability to browse online at Pinterest or Instragram or watch videos on YouTube, anyone is able to create, construct, and make whatever they put their minds to.

IN FACT, MORE THAN HALF OF PEOPLE WHO TACKLE MAKE-IT-YOURSELF PROJECTS ARE UNDER AGE 35, AND THEY’RE SPENDING MORE THAN ONE-THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR ON THEIR HANDMADE PRODUCTS.

There are also many home improvement shows on TV right now that specialize in DIY and make their audience hooked on wanting to repurpose or reinvent existing items they know and love.
