DIY (do it yourself) is more popular than ever right now. With the ability to browse online at Pinterest or Instragram or watch videos on YouTube, anyone is able to create, construct, and make whatever they put their minds to.
IN FACT, MORE THAN HALF OF PEOPLE WHO TACKLE MAKE-IT-YOURSELF PROJECTS ARE UNDER AGE 35, AND THEY’RE SPENDING MORE THAN ONE-THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR ON THEIR HANDMADE PRODUCTS.
There are also many home improvement shows on TV right now that specialize in DIY and make their audience hooked on wanting to repurpose or reinvent existing items they know and love.
Join me in a recent interview with DIY Guru, Erica Domesek as she shares how she got started with DIY and her passion and drive for DIY. Erica also has some great quick and simple Fall ideas for sprucing up our homes and some of the tool and supplies she cannot live without.
Check out my interview with Erika below:
Domesek has appeared on The Today Show, Rachael Ray, The Martha Stewart Show, E! News, The Nate Berkus Show, Fox Business News, and as a judge on TLC’s Craft Wars. Her work has been featured in issues of Glamour, Lucky, InStyle, Teen Vogue, Self, Elle, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal and more. In 2013, she was named as a spokesperson for the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA).
