“A you boy, lying awake one Christmas Eve, is welcomed aboard a magical train to the North Pole….”

With Christmas just weeks away, many families will be celebrating with the classic book: The Polar Express written and illustrated by Chris Van Allsburg. It’s a Houghton Mifflin Harcourt book.  It’s my all time favorite Christmas book and has been since I was a young child.  The book came out in 1985 and now it’s celebrating 30 years. Happy anniversary to The Polar Express! This classic became even more exciting when the animated version came out in theaters featuring Tom Hanks. The best!

The illustrations are just as awesome as ever.  Every time I read the book, I feel like I’m part of the story.  It’s brilliant!
