Middle School

Cookie Cutters & Sled Runners {Book Review}

“For years, Ana and Lily have been looking forward to writing and selling their own cookbook for their middle school project. The Last Cherry Blossom {Book Review}

Last month marked the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, which brings a perfect time to introduce this book by Kathleen Burkinshaw, The Last Cherry Blossom.  It’s a VERY interesting middle school (ages 11-13) part historical fiction, part cultural immersion as it is based off the author’s mother’s own story growing up in Hiroshima.
